US Clarion Capital Partners closes $256m fund

New York-based private firm Clarion Capital Partners has completed its fundraising with commitments of $256m.
Through its Trumpet Funds, Trumpet Investors and Trumpet SBIC Partners, Clarion will seek investments across a range of industries and markets. The firm will generally pursue individual investments ranging from approximately $15-50m of equity.
The firm has already committed to four portfolio companies: U.S. Nursing Corporation, a provider of travel nurse staffing; The Oceanaire, a seafood restaurants owner and operator; Great Northwest Insurance Company, a personal lines insurance business; and Strategic Outsourcing, an employer organisations offering outsourced human resources to small and medium-sized businesses.
Clarion Capital Partners invests in the consumer products, business services, specialty retail, specialty financial services and niche media/entertainment industries.
