 Düsseldorf, Germany-based private equity firm Ventizz Capital Partners has floated its portfolio company ErSol Solar Energy, an Erfurt, Germany-based solar cell manufacturer on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
A total of 3.7 million ErSol shares were offered and have been more than 50 times oversubscribed, according to Ventizz. The share price was fixed at €42, which was the upper end of the price range.
After the IPO Ventizz Capital Fund II continues to be the majority shareholder with a 51.2 per cent stake in ErSol.
Ventizz advises funds that invest in small and medium-sized high tech companies in Western Europe. The three managing partners of Ventizz, Dr Helmut Vorndran, Reinhard Löchner and Willi Mannheims, are currently advising two funds with a total capital under management of €100m.
Ventizz is currently fundraising for a new fund, the Ventizz Capital Fund III.
