UK mid-market buy-out firm ECI Partners has acquired Buckinghamshire, UK-based Aerial Facilities for £56m. ECI is backing a new MBI team led by Ian Brown, who will join as CEO. Aerial is a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of specialist products and solutions which extend the coverage of wireless networks.
ECI director Chris Watt said, 'Aerial is exactly the sort of business that ECI specialises in supporting. It has a well-established position in a growing market sector. We are confident that it is well placed to capitalise on the opportunity presented by the demands of a world increasingly reliant on communications technology. We look forward to working with a strong and experienced management team who we are confident will be able to drive the business forward through its next stage of growth.'
