SCA sells North American packaging operations to Metalmark Capital24/01/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 SCA has agreed to sell its North American packaging operations to Metalmark Capital for $400m in cash.
The North American operations have annual sales of approximately $430m, according to a statement. The sold operations comprise protective packaging, consumer packaging and temperature-assurance packaging solutions.
Metalmark Capital focuses on investments in sectors including industrials, healthcare, financial services and natural resources.
