Castile Ventures hires IT expert Carl Stjernfeldt26/01/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Massachusetts-based venture capital firm Castile Ventures has appointed Carl Stjernfeldt. Stjernfeldt was most recently a partner at Battery Ventures.
Castile founder and partner Nina Saberi said, 'Carl shares our passion for early stage investing. He has been successful in identifying emerging technologies and markets and in recognising talented entrepreneurial teams, and has a record of adding value as an effective board member. We believe Carl will make an outstanding contribution to the development of our firm.'
Stjernfeldt joined Battery Ventures as an associate in 2000 and was promoted to partner in 2004. Prior to joining Battery, Stjernfeldt was with Cambridge Technology Partners and Summa Four.
