LSP hires Dr Fouad Azzam09/03/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Dr Fouad Azzam has joined the LSP investment team as general partner operating from the firm's Boston office.
Dr Azzam comes to LSP from Eastman Ventures, the venture capital arm of Eastman Chemical Company. He started his career with the B.F. Goodrich Corporation in the early 1990s, and later moved to Occidental Chemical Corporation.
Martijn Kleijwegt, managing partner of LSP, said, 'We are delighted having Fouad joining LSP. Fouad takes experience, networks and knowledge of the sector with him. With Fouad Azzam on board LSP's Boston office is complete and ready to further invest the LSP BioVentures fund.'
With €400m under management and offices in Amsterdam, Munich and Boston, LSP focuses on investing in early to mid stage life science companies.
