Arsenal appoints James Kalish, Chip Broadhurst as operating directors12/03/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
New York-based mid-market private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has appointed James Kalish and Austin (Chip) Broadhurst as operating directors. For the previous five years, Kalish worked with Parker Hannifin's Climate and Industrial Controls Group. Prior to Parker Hannifin, he was the executive vice president and managing director of Invensys Controls in Europe. He also served for four years with Invensys as executive vice president of global business development.
Kalish currently serves on the board of Arsenal portfolio company Source Refrigeration and HVAC.
Broadhurst is the managing member of Calchas Group, which he formed in 2002. Previously, he was a partner of medical venture fund Dauphin Capital Partners. Prior to entering venture capital, Broadhurst was a managing director in the healthcare practices of three large executive search firms.
Recently Arsenal closed its second fund, Arsenal Capital Partners II, on $500m.
