CVC hires Robert Berner III14/03/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Robert L Berner III has joined CVC Capital Partners as a partner, based in the firm's new New York office. Berner was most recently a managing director at Ripplewood.
Previously, he was a managing director with Charterhouse and a principal in Morgan Stanley's M&A department.
CVC has offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Jersey, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Zurich, Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney and Tokyo.
CVC announced the formation of its first US office in New York in January of this year and recently appointed Christopher Stadler as managing partner and head of the new US office.
The firm closed its seventh fund, CVC European Equity Partners Tandem Fund, on $5.4bn earlier this year.
