Mike Ellwein, Rod Young join Three Arch Partners as venture partners

Ellwein and Young will identify and assess opportunities for investment, act as consultants and mentors for management at portfolio companies and, in some cases, serve on the boards of directors of those companies.

Ellwein spent 17 years at Medtronic, a developer and manufacturer of medical devices. Young brings 18 years of executive and board-level experience with primarily private companies engaged in developing medical devices and equipment, including several Three Arch portfolio companies.

Three Arch focuses primarily on companies in the medical device and healthcare service industries and assists physicians and inventors with establishing new companies.
