 Radius Ventures, a health and life sciences-focused venture capital firm seeking investments across sectors including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, services, and healthcare/life sciences information technology, has announced that Dr Sanuj K Ravindran has joined the firm as a principal.
Dr Ravindran comes from a director position at Burrill & Company, a San Francisco-based life sciences venture capital firm. He said, 'I was attracted to Radius because of its extraordinary track record of investing - from seed through mezzanine - in a broad range of healthcare and life science verticals. But most compelling is that Radius has built a highly accomplished investment team that takes an active and collaborative approach to investing in and building successful companies.'
Jordan Davis, managing partner of Radius, added, 'We are excited to have Sanuj join Radius. He brings several years of global venture capital investment experience from Burrill & Co., as well as a West Coast perspective and network. Sanuj's expertise deepens our strong and growing base of clinical and scientific talent.'
Radius currently manages approximately $150m in committed capital, and generally invests up to $10m in aggregate, as a lead or syndicate investor.
