 Paul Capital Partners has appointed Lara S Sullivan, MD, as a principal of the firm's healthcare team, effective April 23, 2007. She will be based in the firm's New York office.
Dr Sullivan has eight years of healthcare consulting and equity research experience. Most recently, she was an associate principal at McKinsey & Company where she worked with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies as part of their Pharmaceutical and Medical Products' practice.

Paul Capital Partners manages nearly $5bn in equity capital commitments for its three investment platforms that include healthcare direct investments (including royalty and revenue interests in healthcare products), private equity secondaries and fund-of-funds.
Paul Capital Healthcare is a global healthcare fund, with $1.4bn in equity capital commitments and debt facilities under management, that has made investments in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors valued at $850m. These investments are focused on commercial stage companies and products, and consist of investments in the form of royalties, revenue interests, debt and equity. The firm has offices in New York, San Francisco, Paris, London and Toronto.
John R Leone recently joined Paul Capital Partners as a partner. Based in the New York office, Leone is also now part of the firm's healthcare team.
