 OpenView Venture Partners, an expansion stage venture capital fund established in 2006 with a focus on software, internet, and technology-enabled companies, has appointed George Roberts as a venture partner.
Roberts is a former member of the executive management team at Oracle. For the past three years he has been making private investments and serving as a board member of several venture capital-funded software companies, including ScriptLogic Corporation, Fieldglass, and Informance International.
At OpenView, Roberts will join the investment team and will be working closely with its portfolio companies as well as on sourcing new investment prospects.
OpenView is based in Boston and invests on a worldwide basis.
