 MVC Capital, a business development company that provides long-term debt and equity investment capital to fund growth, acquisitions and recapitalisations of companies in a variety of industries, has appointed Warren E Holtsberg to the fund's board of directors.
Holtsberg previously served as corporate vice president of Equity Investments and was the founder and head of Motorola Ventures. He currently serves on the boards of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, Illinois Ventures (the venture arm of the University of Illinois) and the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.
MVC Capital invests in industry sectors including consumer products, industrial manufacturing/services, food/food services, financial services, value-added distribution, specialty chemicals and security.
