The Riverside Company hires Keith Paige as operating partner

Throughout his career, Paige has focused primarily on industrial products and distribution and is knowledgeable in the field of brand management.

He has held executive positions with companies including Briggs & Stratton Corporation, Hilti, Vermont American Corporation and Emerson Electric Company.

Riverside focuses on the smaller end of the middle market. The firm invests in companies with enterprise values of less than $100m.

Recently, Riverside sold Salgglas, a Hungarian manufacturer of tempered and laminated glass, to CEE Industrial Holdings. Riverside's 1997 purchase of Salgglas was funded through the Riverside Central Europe Fund. The deal generated a four times gross cash-on-cash return and a gross IRR of 19 per cent, according to a statement.
