Mohan Kharbanda has joined Baird Venture Partners' business services team as an executive-in-residence. He will also serve as a member of the Business Services Advisory Board for Baird Capital Partners. BVP and BCP are, respectively, the US-based venture and buy-out funds of Baird Private Equity. In his new roles Kharbanda will help evaluate new investment opportunities and contribute value-added operating experience to portfolio companies, particularly related to potential expansion opportunities in India.
Prior to joining Baird, Kharbanda worked at Apple, as a vice president, where he led a team focused on establishing offshore operations in India and Eastern Europe. Prior to Apple, Kharbanda was vice president and managing director of Dell International Services, where he was responsible for establishing Dell's India operations.
