Advent to acquire Lloyds TSB Registrars for £550m21/05/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Advent International has agreed to acquire Worthing, UK-headquartered share registration business Lloyds TSB Registrars from Lloyds TSB for a total consideration of £550m.
Advent is backing the existing management team headed by managing director David Winton.
Lloyds TSB Registrars employs around 1,700 people. The business's activities span registration services, retail investor services and employee share plans, flexible benefits and pensions administration.
Since inception, Advent has raised £5bn in private equity capital and completed more than 200 buy-out and private equity transactions valued at approximately £13bn in 35 countries.
