KKR, CVC Asia Pacific reportedly leave Coles consortium

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityKohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and CVC Asia Pacific have reportedly left the consortium trying to acquire Australian retailer Coles Group.

The consortium still includes The Blackstone Group, The Carlyle Group, Bain Capital and Texas Pacific Group.

The retailer has approximately 2,600 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand and employs 190,000 people.

A rival consortium is l.ed by Westfarmers and includes Pacific Equity Partners.
