US firm Emergence Capital closes second fund on $200m22/06/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Emergence Capital Partners, a San Mateo, California-based venture capital firm specialising in investments in technology-enabled services companies, has closed its second fund on $200m.
The fund had an original target of $175m.
All of the institutional investors in Emergence Capital's first fund returned as investors in the new fund, the firm said in a statement. New investors include Oak Hill Investment Management.
Emergence Capital has assets of more than $325m under management.
