Kauffman Fellow Jay Boddu hired by Sofinnova Ventures28/06/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Sofinnova Ventures, a venture capital firm specialising in early-stage life science and information technology investments, has announced that Jay Boddu is to join the company's IT team. Jay will hold the role of Kauffman Venture Fellow. Working along side his IT team members, Jay will focus on infrastructure deals leveraging Sofinnova Ventures' practice in the wireless sector and deep corporate spin-off segment.
'Jay is an outstanding businessperson and technologist,' said Eric Buatois, general partner of Sofinnova Ventures. 'His extensive background in establishing new products, major corporate initiatives, and managing groups of people for a cross-section of start-up and public companies makes him a valuable asset to our team and our portfolio companies.'
With 15 years in the technology sector, Jay Boddu joins Sofinnova from Juniper Networks Inc. As an early employee at Juniper, he led the architecture and implementation of their key networking technologies.
Founded in 1974, Sofinnova Ventures is a venture capital firm specialising in spin offs and early stage companies in the life science and information technology sectors.
