 The Woodlands, Texas-headquartered IEV Capital has closed a $1.83bn fund. IEV Capital, along with its private equity partners, has created this fund to target sectors of the energy industry that are traditionally difficult to fund: energy savings, renewable or alternative energy and oil drilling.
Capital raised will target acquisitions and new development in energy savings installations, ethanol production, bio diesel production, wind and solar energy production, coal-to-liquid projects, and offshore and onshore oil drilling projects.
IEV Capital is the commercial financing services group of IE Ventures.
