Octopus appoints Purvi Sapre as investment manager in its private equity team30/10/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
 Octopus Investments, a fund manager and private equity investor in the SME space, has appointed Purvi Sapre as a new investment manager in the firm's private equity team. Prior to joining Octopus Private Equity, Sapre was a manager in Barclays Leveraged Finance team.
Chris Allner, head of Octopus Private Equity said, 'We are committed to maintaining the level of growth that we have achieved to date and recruiting people of Purvi's calibre is a key part of that process.'
Octopus Private Equity specialises in providing £2-8m of equity finance for MBOs, MBIs and development capital for UK companies in transactions with an enterprise value of typically up to £25m.
