Warburg Pincus buys Czech internet company NetCentrum04/12/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
Warburg Pincus has acquired Czech internet company NetCentrum for an undisclosed amount. The existing shareholders in NetCentrum will reinvest in the company as part of the transaction, according to a statement. NetCentrum was founded in September 1999. The business started with the launch of Centrum.cz. The web portal now has more than 200 employees.
Warburg Pincus currently has $20bn of assets under management in a range of sectors including technology, media and telecommunications, consumer and retail, industrial, healthcare, financial services, energy and real estate.
In a separate transaction, Warburg Pincus has agreed to sell its stake in UK consumer loyalty company Loyalty Management Group to Canadian loyalty marketing company Aeroplan Income Fund, as previously reported by AltAssets.
