UK mid-market buy-out firm ECI Partners has appointed Jeremy Lytle as investor relations manager. Lytle will act as a main point of contact for investors and lead future fundraisings with the firm's investment committee. Lytle joins ECI from FM Capital Management, where he was COO and head of investor relations. He began his career at Cazenove in 1998. As a fund director within the institutional team he had responsibility for 25 pension and charity multi-asset and specialist portfolios and for tactical asset allocation to private equity and other alternative assets.
Ken Landsberg, head of ECI's London team, said, 'We are delighted to welcome Jeremy to our team and look forward to his contribution. His wealth of experience will prove invaluable in enhancing and furthering our investor relations and future fundraising activities.'
Lytle added, 'ECI has a fantastic reputation for identifying, acquiring and growing businesses and I am delighted to be joining such an experienced and high quality team. They have an exemplary track record of delivering returns to investors and I look forward to helping communicate that success to existing and new investors.'
ECI focuses on buy-outs, buy-ins and development capital deals worth between £10m and £150m.
The firm's recent deals have included the acquisition of marine navigation technology company Kelvin Hughes and the sale of UK parenting club, Bounty, to online media company Kaboose for £70m.
