Advent International expands CEE team17/12/2007. Source: AltAssets. 
Advent International has added two new principals to its CEE team. Dan Morgan and Albena Vassileva will bring the team's size to 16 people. Morgan, a chartered accountant, joins from Kaupthing, where he has been director of the bank's specialist private equity division since 2005. Before that, he spent nine years as an investment director with 3i.
Vassileva has been at ABN AMRO Capital for seven years, latterly as vice president and senior investment manager working on TMT investments. She was previously with ING Baring.
Advent managing director Joanna James said, 'As we approach 2008, with a rapidly expanding private equity market in CEE, we are delighted to welcome two such high calibre investment professionals to the team.'
Advent's 16 CEE-focused investment professionals are based in London, Warsaw, Prague, Bucharest and Kiev.
Advent has recently agreed to acquire a 70 per cent stake in KAI Group, a Bulgarian manufacturer of interior and exterior floor, wall and decorative ceramic tiles, for an undisclosed amount.
