German private equity fund of funds specialist VCM Capital Management has established a new office in Paris, to be led by managing director Pascal Feucher. Feucher will be responsible for client relationships in the French and Italian markets and for co-managing VCM's portfolio of mezzanine funds. He joins from Finama Private Equity. Previously, Feucher worked for Natixis in trade and leveraged finance in Asia and France and was portfolio manager for a €300m CLO fund.
Dr Matthias Unser, managing director and partner of VCM, said, 'We are very pleased to have won such an experienced partner for our team. Together with him, we will strengthen our mezzanine investment team and expand our institutional investor base abroad.'
'French investors have been starting to significantly increase their allocation to alternative asset classes,' added Feucher. 'VCM provides its investors with attractive investment opportunities beyond the mainstream offerings.'
VCM has approximately €1.7bn of assets under management.
