Norway's Ferd Private Equity has renamed itself Herkules Capital to mark its independence from Ferd AS. The firm will relocate its offices to central Oslo. Ferd AS CEO Johan H Andresen said, 'Ferd was the originator and founder and has been a solid contributor to this investment firm - which has provided excellent returns for everyone involved. This has been a success.'
Ferd Private Equity, established in 2004, serves around 20 Norwegian and international investors, of which Ferd AS is the largest.
Herkules currently consists of two funds, which have invested in small and medium enterprises in the Nordic region, primarily in Norway.
