Nordic private equity firm EQT Partners has appointed Peter Korsholm as head of EQT Equity Denmark, leading the firm's Copenhagen office. The appointment comes after former head Ole Anderson decided to step down after five years. Previously, Peter Korsholm worked at Morgan Stanley in London, before joining EQT in 1999 and becoming a partner in 2006.
Thomas von Koch, senior partner and head of EQT Equity, said, 'Peter Korsholm has in a very impressing way proved that he has the skills and ambitions to take on this new role. He has been with EQT Partners a long time and has during this period delivered very strong results.'
The announcement follows days after EQT appointed Thomas Ramsay to head the firm's Finnish operations.
