TowerBrook appoints John Sinik as managing partner

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityLondon and New York-based private equity firm TowerBrook Capital Partners has appointed John Sinik as a managing director. Sinik will be based in the firm's London office.

Sinik joins TowerBrook from UBS, where he was global head of leveraged finance and European head of private equity coverage. At UBS he also served as a member of the investment banking global management committee.

Prior to UBS, Sinik invested in private equity transactions for Bankers Trust and was a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.

TowerBrook has approximately $2.5bn under management. The firm targets control-oriented private equity investments in large and mid-market companies in Europe and North America. It invests primarily in leveraged buy-outs, leveraged build-ups and distressed situations.
