Zurich-headquartered SCM Strategic Capital Management has opened a new office in Hong Kong. The news follows the establishment of SCM Strategic Capital Management Asia earlier this year. Mark Engler, vice president in SCM’s due diligence team, will join the Hong Kong team and spearhead deal sourcing and due diligence efforts in the region. Nana Riedhauser has rejoined SCM as Hong Kong general office manager. Riedhauser previously was operations manager in SCM’s Zurich office.
SCM is increasing the scale of its Asian investment strategy, which includes private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds, the firm said in a statement.
Earlier this year SCM established a representative office in London. The London office is run by new partner Karin Russell-Wiederkehr.
