Henry Potter joins Alpha Associates

Click here for the latest news, views and interviews in the clean energy investor communityAlpha Associates has appointed Henry Potter, senior private equity banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. Potter will join the Zurich-based private equity fund of funds firm as partner in September 2008.

Potter has worked at the EBRD for 15 years. He helped build EBRD's private equity funds investment programme into the largest in the region. In addition to his managerial and transactional responsibilities, he oversaw EBRD's private equity performance data collection and analysis as well as the co-investment programme between EBRD and its portfolio funds.

Peter Derendinger, CEO of Alpha Associates, said, 'We have worked with Henry Potter for many years, and he is the obvious candidate to broaden our coverage in the region.'

Alpha Associates has CHF2bn of assets under management.
