Vice President, Co-investment and Secondary professional, Fund of Funds, London

Our client is a highly reputable American firm with a very strong global focus. They are looking to expand their business in the European market from the London office. It is a small team looking to grow considerably in the following year. The role will be to investigate, negotiate and execute the co-investment opportunities that are derived from the fund investment programme. The Vice President will report to the Head of the London office. You will also interact and work cross boarders with the US based co-investment and secondary team.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong academic background, ideally with an ACA or MBA.
  • Relevant transaction experience gained in private equity, fund of funds co-investment or secondaries experience in the European market.
  • Strong execution experience with full exposure to at least three completed investments as an investor
  • Excellent financial modelling and quantitative capabilities
  • Demonstrable commercial judgement
  • Good presentation skills
Personal qualities should include
  • A mature and confident approach
  • A collaborative and co-operative style that fits well with the client's culture
  • A strong client service work ethic.
