Investment Analyst, Leading Technology Venture Capital Fund, London

This is a great opportunity for venture capital enthusiasts to work with one of the leading technology focused VC funds. Our client was founded by a team of legendary entrepreneurs who look to invest in like minded individuals. Investing globally, it invests in companies with disruptive ideas. It focuses on consumer facing technology businesses in Europe, however has an open-mind to investing beyond these boundaries. It typically invests at the early stage but is opportunistic when it finds a compelling opportunity. It likes to lead investments, but will partner with other investors. You’ll be joining the team as an Investment Analyst and will assist the team on all aspects of a transaction and in managing the portfolio. You will help screen opportunities, meet management teams, undertake due diligence, negotiate terms, and monitor the companies once invested. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top VC fund.

You will have:

• Relevant work experience – strategy consulting, investment banking, accountancy/transaction services, corporate finance, or VC/PE
• Demonstrable ability to assess and analyse business opportunities
• Genuine enthusiasm for venture capital, technology and the entrepreneurial environment
• Strong academic record – an ACA or MBA would be an advantage, as would a background in the sciences
• Good communication and time management skills
• In addition to fluent English, additional languages are desired but not essential
