UK venture capital firm Oxford Capital Partners has appointed Richard Hoskins, a former retail sales manager at Noble Fund Managers, as private client services manager to develop the distribution of the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Funds through the intermediary sales channel.
Prior to Noble, Hoskins worked for Halewood International Futures as an account executive with responsibility for business development.
Ted Mott, chief executive, Oxford Capital, said, 'We are seeing greatly increased interest in our EIS Funds from intermediaries and wealth managers, both for their potential for significant capital growth from venture investment in emerging businesses in the sustainability, healthcare and communications sectors and also for the compelling tax planning opportunities these funds offer. Richard's appointment will allow us to increase awareness of Oxford Capital in the intermediary sector and build on the growing number of professional advisers who recommend our funds.'
Oxford Capital focuses on investments in emerging science and technology. It manages £36m across five Oxford Gateway EIS Funds.
