Oslo-listed video conference systems company Tandberg has ended its talks with a private equity firm because it believes that the price it would achieve in this market environment would be too low.
It is not certain which private equity firm it was that approached the company but media speculation suggested that it was Silver Lake.
Tandberg has dual headquarters in Oslo and New York. The company employs close to 1,000 people.
