Pegasus Capital Advisors has appointed Paul Dickerson as an operating advisor to the firm. In his new role, Dickerson will advise those of the firm's portfolio companies that focus on sustainability. Dickerson is the former COO of the US Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. He now heads the international cleantech practice of law firm Haynes and Boone.
As EERE's COO, Dickerson was responsible for directing the implementation of EERE priorities, policies, programme development and execution, and strategic planning.
He previously also led an international staff of 1,200 in 80 countries and a budget of $223m as chief of staff of the Department of Commerce's Foreign Commercial Service.
