New York City-based Quadrangle Group has hired Gordon A Holmes as a managing principal. He will be joining the private equity team of Quadrangle Capital Partners, which invests in companies across the media and telecommunications industries.
Most recently, Holmes was a general partner at Forstmann Little & Co., where his responsibilities encompassed sourcing, due diligence and negotiation of investment opportunities within the media and communications industry.
Prior to joining Forstmann Little in 1998, Holmes worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its Singapore, New York and London offices.

'His diverse investment background, his knowledge of the media and communications space and his international experience make him an excellent addition to Quadrangle.
