Toronto-based private equity firm Whitecastle Private Equity Partners has appointed Michael Fricker as vice president.
For the past nine years, Fricker acted as a corporate finance advisor serving privately-held, mid-market businesses with growth, succession and liquidity needs. While in this role, Fricker worked with a range of Canadian and US private equity groups and lenders.
Prior to becoming partner at a Canadian corporate finance boutique, Fricker worked in both banking and the brokerage industry. Additionally, he served as a board member of a Toronto charitable foundation.

Whitecastle focuses on providing capital and advice for growth and buy-outs in small and medium-sized enterprises. It targets opportunities in business sectors such as the environment, healthcare services and products, financial services and manufacturing.
