In addition, COO Doug Kramer will also leave the firm, alongside managing principal Jeffrey Nordhaus and Gordon Holmes, who previously headed the London office.
Kramer joined the firm in 2008, to oversee all of the firm’s non-investment operations as well as its strategic development. He was also involved in developing the firm’s newly established Quadrangle Asset Management investment vehicle.
Quadrangle was founded in 2000. The firm focuses on direct investments in media and communications companies around the world, and targets investments of between $100 and $250m.
Quadrangle has some $6bn of assets under management, and operates from offices in New York, Hong Kong and Silicon Valley.
According to Bloomberg, the firm is planning to expand is Hong Kong office.
