The private equity fund of funds arm of Canada’s TD Bank Financial Group, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, has spun out and rebranded as Northleaf Capital Partners.
Northleaf’s 40-person team will continue to manage over $2.8bn in private equity fund commitments on behalf of institutional investors, including TD.
TD Capital has been investing globally in private equity since 1969 and has put capital in more than 200 buy-out, venture capital, mezzanine and special situations funds and direct co-investments with more than 70 private equity fund sponsors.
TD Capital's team is located in Toronto, Canada and London. The firm opened its London office in 2006.
