RESEARCH ORDERING DELIVERY, TERMS & CONDITION AND FAQs DELIVERY Delivery by standard Royal Mail first class post is included free in the prices shown on the web site and the downloadable order form. We aim to dispatch all orders to you within 24 hours of your payment being received and successfully cleared. This means reports will normally arrive with you no later than seven days after your payment has been received and cleared. We can also arrange overnight courier delivery for fast dispatch from our UK offices. The courier delivery charge will be added onto your order at cost, and will vary depending on your location. If your firm has its own account with a courier, you can also have your order collected by your courier service by prior arrangement with AltAssets. PAYMENT METHODS Paying online 1) You can pay online by credit card through our secure server. 2) You can also indicate online if wish to pay by pro-forma invoice. We will post you a pro-forma invoice, then wait to receive your cheque or bank transfer before dispatching your order. Paying offline You can pay offline by downloading our order form, printing it out, then .. 1) You can fill out the order form with your credit card details and fax/post it back. 2) You can post the order form back with your cheque. 3) You can fax/post the order form back indicating you wish to pay by pro-forma invoice. We will post you your pro-forma invoice, then wait to receive your cheque or bank transfer before dispatching your order. Currencies Orders paid by credit card - either offline or online - are processed in UK £. If you are based outside the UK, your credit card company will charge your credit card in your local currency for the £ amount at the day's prevailing exchange rate. Phone your credit card company to get details of their exchange rate for the day you make the order. If you are paying by cheque or bank transfer, you can pay in US $ or Euros at the rate shown on the order form and product pages. VALUE-ADDED TAX (VAT) - Research Reports: Print & Paper format Print and paper products are zero-rated for VAT purposes and no tax is charged. - Research Reports: Digital Format UK: VAT of 17.5% will be added to the price of your order. EU: VAT of 17.5% will be added to the price of your order unless you fill out a valid VAT number on your order form. Outside the European Community: No VAT will be added to the price of your order. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE The high value and proprietary nature of AltAssets' research means that all sales are final; items cannot be returned and no refunds can be issued. Unless otherwise negotiated in writing, all research is offered on the basis of a single user licence. Print reports may not be photocopied, duplicated or converted to digital format. Digital-format research may not be copied, e-mailed to others or made available on networks, intranets, extranets or web sites. Printouts may be made for the personal use of the purchaser only. DIGITAL FORMATS Some research is only available in digital formats, and where this is the case, the digital nature of the research is clearly marked on both the offline order form and the online purchase pages. Digitally formatted research is only made available on Windows-compatible CD-ROM in Adobe Acrobat format and requires the installation of the free Acrobat Reader software. Apple Macintosh or UNIX formatted CD-ROMs are not currently supported. We can not offer technical support for the installation or the operation of the Adobe Acrobat reader software. Our research contains colour graphs and figures and will require a colour printer if you wish to print out a PDF file. AltAssets staff cannot e-mail digitally-formated research reports out to clients as e-mail attachments due to the large file size of digitally formatted research.
