Menlo Park, California-based Cardinal Venture Capital has promoted Christian Borcher to general partner. He has been with the firm since its founding in early 2000. In his new role Borcher will continue to be responsible for identifying, leading and managing investments for the firm, focusing on the digital media, mobility and software-as-a-service sectors. Cardinal Venture Capital invests in early stage technology companies in the areas of digital media, electronic payments, mobility and software-as-a-service.
Central European private equity fund manager Innova Capital has promoted Krzysztof Kulig, currently the managing director, to partner. Kulig joined Innova's investment team five years ago. He is responsible for developing investments in financial services, B2B services and IT across the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Innova funds mainly invest in media, financial services, IT/telecommunication, business services and manufacturing.
