Amber Gray has joined information technology-focused venture capital firm Updata Partners as an associate. Gray, a former product marketing manager at Informatica Corporation, will leverage her expertise in the data integration and business analytics software sector to source new investments and support Updata portfolio companies, Updata said in a statement. Gray's early professional experience included consulting and marketing roles at start-ups Clarus Systems, InPart and Packet Engines.
Andrew Parker has joined New York City-based early stage venture capital firm Union Square Ventures as an analyst. Parker began his career in consumer internet product development in 2004. He also worked at Homestead Technologies, Groupspace.org.
Todd MacLean has joined Bain Capital Ventures as a principal. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures MacLean held the position of vice president at Summit Partners. Previously he also worked for Synapse Group.
